Muradov Jewelry Appraisals, is a certified gemologist, which means our assessments meet or exceed requirements for insurance appraisal.  

Ring appraisals are the most common jewelry brought in to be appraised. specifically, engagement rings and wedding bands. An engagement ring is one of the most important and expensive purchases made by a couple and should be properly identified and described for your insurance needs.  The certificate comes with a digital photograph and has a value attached to the piece being appraised. Many diamonds come with a laser-inscribedserial number which is only visible with a microscope. Michael will be able to identify this number and transcribe it onto the certificate for identification. Other types of rings commonly appraised are dinner rings, color gemstone rings, cluster rings, etc.

Michael Muradov is among the few appraisers in Western Canada certified by the Gemological Institute of America with a Certificate in Insurance Replacement Appraisal. He also is a graduate of George Brown with a Gemology Diploma as well as a fellow of the Canadian Gemological Association. With over 20 years of experience, he is well-known throughout the industry, and versatile to appraise all types of jewellery.
